IMPORTANT DATES 2-page abstract due by: August 15, 2013 SUBMISSION LINK SCOPE IEEE CNS is a new IEEE Communication Society (ComSoc)’s conference dedicated to Communications and Network Security. This new conference is positioned to be a core ComSoc conference (at a level comparable to IEEE INFOCOM) and will serve as a premier forum for communications and network security researchers, practitioners, policy makers, and users to exchange ideas, techniques and tools, raise awareness, and share experience related to security and privacy. IEEE CNS 2013 solicits submissions for its Posters Session that will be scheduled during the conference. Poster submissions should be in the form of a 2-page abstract describing the main contributions and the merits of the proposed ideas as well as reporting initial results and the challenges towards a fully fledged solution of the problem under consideration. Abstracts will be evaluated by a Posters Session committee mainly based on their potential to stimulate interesting discussions, exchange of ideas and promote collaborations. Poster abstracts should be submitted via EDAS and follow the same template for regular conference papers available on http://www.ieee-cns.org/ and Particular topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
Accepted authors of posters will have a space in the poster session room to display their posters and describe their work in discussions with interested attendees. Moreover, the abstract of the accepted posters will appear in the conference proceeding and be submitted to IEEE Xplore. All accepted IEEE CNS 2013 posters require an author to register for the conference at the appropriate rate for their membership level. Additional registration fees will apply if a single author is registering more than 3 posters and technical papers in the conference. Awards: IEEE CNS 2013 will also run a best poster award competition. Awards will be based on the novelty and the potentials of the poster to drive further research. The quality of presentation as well as the attraction they will get during the session will be important criteria for the awards as well. The award will be announced in a plenary session of the main conference, and the authors will be given the opportunity to make a short presentation of their research.
